Mrs. Ina Faye
Ina Faye has been with the SCFM since its humble beginnings in the historic Broady Hospital Building in 1993. Through the years, she has filled many roles: sorting food, stocking shelves, and working as a cashier in our Thrift Store. Her current position is her favorite: greeting and checking Neighbors in. Ina Faye loves to put a smile on people’s faces as they come in, from giving children a piece of candy to cheering up those who seem sad. “I have learned to be thankful for all our own blessings and for all the wonderful people, businesses and churches who support our food ministry. We have learned to make Neighbors feel welcome and loved and not ashamed to come and ask for help because that is why we are here: to help them feel God’s love.”
