Publix Charities Presents Donation

Wednesday, August 28th, director Jim Davis attended the Publix World Hunger Day event.  Publix Charities has been presenting donations to many Hunger Relief organizations across the Southeast, and we are thankful that they recognized the SCFM to be a part of this!  Their generous donation will help us continue to alleviate hunger in our community.

Boys & Girls Clubs Donate Toiletries

This month, the Pigeon Forge and Seymour chapters of the Boy & Girls Club of the Smokies dropped by with donations of toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and drawstring back packs! We primarily supply our neighbors with supplemental groceries, but we can occasionally provide them with some basic necessities as well when they need it.

Pathways Church donates over 2,000 pounds of food

The Sevier County Food Ministries gave out Christmas groceries the week of December 10-14.  The bags were complete with common holiday meal items, such as boxed stuffing mix, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, and a voucher for meat that families could use to buy ham or turkey from Food City.  We were able to serve…
